What is a non-surgical nose job?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is an aesthetic solution to changing the appearance of your nose. Other names for this cosmetic procedure include “non-surgical nose job”, “nose fillers”, “injectable rhinoplasty”, or “liquid rhinoplasty”.

Dermal filler injections can achieve immediate results, creating a visually straighter nose by smoothing out uneven contours, while anti-wrinkle injections can assist with nasal tip ptosis (a condition where the nose tip points downwards). This is an affordable way to create your desired results without ongoing lengthy recovery times and invasive surgeries.

Common Goals of Nose Filler

● Straightening the Nose: Using fillers to create the illusion of a straighter nose.
● Reducing Imperfections: Small imperfections on the nose line can be corrected, or filler can be used to add volume where required.
● A Quick Solution: A rapid procedure with no prolonged recovery time
● Correcting Dips or Depressions: Fill in any dips or depressions on the bridge of the nose to create a smoother contour.

How does non-surgical rhinoplasty work?

A non-surgical nose job is a short procedure our expertly trained clinicians perform to deliver filler injections. The injections “fill in” the gaps of an uneven nose and create a smooth appearance.

You can expect the procedure to last around 40 minutes without any need for general anaesthetic or sedation.
You may experience some light swelling and gentle bruising around the injection site, although this will settle in 2-3 days and can be managed easily at home.

Commonly Asked Questions about Rhinoplasty Surgery

How much does rhinoplasty cost?

Non-surgical nose jobs cost a fraction of the price of a full rhinoplasty surgery. The exact cost of your non-surgical nose job will depend on the complexity of the procedure required to create your ideal results. All costs will be discussed in advance.

How long is recovery after a non-surgical nose job?

You may experience some gentle bruising and swelling around the treated area; however, this tends to subside over 2-3 days post procedure.

How long does the procedure take?<br />

Non-surgical nose jobs tend to take around 40 minutes in total. There is no need to stay overnight, and you can return to your daily activities immediately.

How long to recover from a nose job?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is not known to be a painful procedure. The filler contains some local anaesthetic, making the procedure as comfortable as possible.

Is rhinoplasty painful?

Rhinoplasty is not known to be a particularly painful procedure, and you can generally manage pain using paracetamol or ibuprofen. Our team will provide you with a specific aftercare management plan to ensure your comfort during the recovery process.

Is the non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure safe?

There are very few risks associated with non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures. We use hyaluronic acid based fillers. Worldwide, these have been shown to be the safest and best tolerated fillers for this type of procedure. These naturally break down with the naturally occurring hyaluronic in the skin and have a reputation for being a safe way to mimic full rhinoplasty.

Is rhinoplasty done under a local or general anaesthetic?

You will not need to undergo any general anaesthetic, our dermal fillers contain a local anaesthetic called lidocaine, which will help eliminate discomfort. We can also offer optional numbing cream for the injection site.

Am I a good candidate for non surgical rhinoplasty?

Depending on the outcome that you are looking to achieve with a non-surgical nose job, you may be a good candidate. If we don’t believe that a non surgical procedure will achieve your desired results, we will also discuss other options that are available to you.

What should I expect during the initial consultation?

During your initial consultation, you will discuss your goals and concerns with one of our expert consultants. This is also a time for you to ask any questions and learn more about the procedure, recovery, and expected outcomes.

How should I prepare for my treatment?

Although this is a simple procedure, you must be fully prepared for the day.
– Avoid drinking alcohol 2-3 days prior to the procedure
– Avoid taking any blood thinners (including aspirin) in the week before (please speak to your doctor before stopping any medication)

What should I expect immediately after the procedure?

You can expect to see immediate results, with a little swelling and bruising. You can go back to your normal daily activities immediately following your procedure if you wish to.

How

Non surgical rhinoplasty is not a permanent solution to changing the shape of your nose and will need to be topped up. Results may last between one and three years but this varies between individuals.

Is a non-surgical nose job the same as a full rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical nose jobs are designed to enhance your nose as opposed to fully changing the shape. If you want to change the structure of your nose – such as a bulbous tip or a wide nose – traditional rhinoplasty may be a better solution for you.
